Chloe woke up in the middle of the night to come sleep with us, we ushered her back to her room and then we saw her bright smiling face at 5:30 this morning. Luckily she went right to sleep next to me, and at 7 decided it was time to be awake. She was so cute seeing her party all set up, she was skipping around the house and got dressed in a flash.
We went out front of the house to take some pictures, and the best thing happend. Chloe is named after my grandma Jeanne. and she loved butterflies, well ever since she passed away in 2004 we see white butterflies, and one day my mom said it was Grandma Jeanne. Well we have taught this to Chloe and this morning she ran up onto the porch and was screaming that she found Grandma Jeanne. I snapped a picture of it, and felt a sense of calm. Who knows, maybe she wanted to be there with her. I like to think so.

B came home from work and we walked over to Chloe's school. We are so blessed that it is only a few blocks from our house. We'll be able to walk everyday to get her, and not wait forever in the crowded parking lot. We found her classroom and got all lined up. She nervously looked around at the other kids playing on the playground but didn't venture away from the wall. Then the bell rang, and she was standing there looking all grown up. This is when I couldn't stop the tears, she waived goodbye one more time and went inside. I am so glad I was wearing sunglasses because I couldn't help it. B hugged me and we walked Lily back home.
I am not sad that she is growing up, the sad part for me was thinking "did I do everything fun for her while she was home with me?" and who's going to hang out with me in my jammies all morning. Lily loves playing with Chloe and now I know that she won't have all that time with her. It's so silly because every kiddo goes to school. I geuss I didn't realize how much I would wish it wasn't time yet.
We went and picked her up, and she was skipping out the door. She LOVED it. She said that she got to go to an assembly and read a story. I was so happy for her, she really is were she should be. xoxo
