happily ever after

Worlds Worst Mother, right here. As you can see Miss Chloe has made her list. A few weeks ago we went to our weekly trip to Costco. and as great as Costco is, they seem to put the best toys down low where little ones can climb and play on. Chloe found this horse, and fell in love. So in love that that is all she has talked about since. I knew that "Santa" would just have to come through and deliver said horse on Christmas morning. I also knew that having a three foot tall horse in her room would be exciting for the first day or so and then it would probably become some sort of rack to hold clothes, and blankets. So we waited because we couldn't decide if she would grow out of this obsession. After a few weeks she hadn't stopped talking about it so off to Costco I went. and of course they were sold out So I called the other one, also sold out. So I went online. Also sold out. SERIOUS?!? Now what. I kept looking on line and couldn't find anything that could compare. So I asked her to help me make a list, hoping that she wouldn't mention the horse. And as you can see, she did. She also made sure that she gets food for the horse and a bucket for the horse to drink out of. So bummed. I found a smaller one that she will get from "Santa" but I feel so bad that we weren't able to get the "horse" that she so desperately wants. Hopefully she will be so overwhelmed with everything else that she'll forget all about that horse. Darn Costco, next year I will not wait. xoxo
