OMG, did that REALLY just happen????

I just have to first issue a HUGE apology to all employees of a store and to the person who grabbed the cart I just left in the mens department. So um, where do I begin...... Lily and I went shopping today with my mom. We were cruising through a store and I noticed that Lily had pooped. Now I noticed because breast fed babies just seem to have an odor about their poop. Not smelly, just an odor that any mom could tell. So I figured I would change her in the car. My mom and Lil were walking around the store and I went to go down an aisle and noticed something orange all over the floor. (Know where I am going with this?) and I was so grossed out, I went and found an employee and I was like "hey, someone's kid pooped all over the floor" She too was disgusted and went and got a mop. I found my mom and told her just how disgusted I was too. We kept shopping, well Lily was really starting to cry so I picked her up...... to find that not only did she poop on the cart, she was the baby who's poop fell on the store floor..... I am the mom who's kid just pooped at the store... I was mortified. I quickly discovered that not only did it get on the cart, the floor, but on my Coach purse, not a knock off, my coach bag. I scooped her up in her blanket and pretty much ran for the door. My mom paid for my stuff and came outside to help me. I regret to mention that I left that cart in the mens department covered in poop. I could not bring myself to go back to fess up so I left it. Ridiculous! After about 50 wipes and a new change of clothes, Lily was all smiles. Never in my life have I ever had something like this happen to me, not even at home has something like this happened to me. So thanks Lily, and thanks to the employees who probably cursed me to no end. I will never show face in your store again! xoxo

Ahhh...a day in the life of a mom. I'd have done the same thing, but that IS hilarious. Write that one down and you can remind her of it later when she's a teenager ;o)

I've had this same situation! When Madelyn was a baby we were visiting my brother in Utah. We went to Walmart to grab some groceries and I was holding Maddy in my arms and she was sort of resting on my hip as we walked around the store. Well since it was the summer time she was wearing shorts and since she was teething she had very runny #2. Needless to say when she decided to relieve herself it went out of her shorts, onto my shirt, and all over my Coach purse! I was mortified but there was nothing I could do but just laugh it off till we got to the car and could clean up a bit! Lol! The joys of motherhood right? =)
