Did anyone see Dr. Phil yesterday? um okay, I was so upset by it. The title show was "Are mom's really busy". Come on, seriously. They had an "expert" on the show that claims that all stay at home mom's have atleast 30-40 hours of leisure time a week. huh? They consider anytime that you sit down to relax leisure, especially if you have a toddler climbing all over your lap. I couldn't believe my ears, they had some men on the show with their opinions that women are lazy, and that they sit around and watch soaps all day. I was irrate at this point. I was actually fuming. Because as I am watching this, I am cleaning the kitchen, getting Lily to take a nap, pouring milk for Chloe..... the list goes on. and this jackass claims to think that this is my leisure time. Then they had a husband/wife couple on, the wife is young has two young kids and her asshole husband complains that she doesn't clean the house right, that she must sit and do nothing all day long. Says that women are a weaker vessel to men and that is how the Bible depicts us. But no where in the Bible does it say to disrespect your wife. It actually says to love your wife as God loved the church. So pretty unconditional. I was so mad that I joined his "community" and posted a response like the other 400 women who felt the same as me. Then as I am reading the other responses, some man writes. If you are leaving a message on here, you must be doing it during your leisure time, ha ha. So to all you mommas out there, enjoy your leisure time of wiping butts, washing laundry, grocery shopping, and paying bills. I know that I have about 40 hours a week to do that :) xoxo
