So once again, its been forever. I swear I can't keep up with this blog :) However we've been super busy and having a blast. We recently became a "bike" family and have spent our evenings strolling through the neighborhood. So proud of Chloe finally learning to ride without training wheels a few months ago. It's so fun to watch her try new tricks. She's a natural. Lily got a bike trailer and isn't so sure she likes it. In fact she screams the first five minutes of our rides :) but it will be nice to have for lots of things.
We're still married to the gym, but its been going really good. I have started Jamie Eason's 12 week program and am on day 18. I haven't been this sore in months. Like I can't sit down without assistance and getting up from a seated position is ridiculous to watch. I told B that I would love a bath of Bio Freeze because my entire body is aching :) but I am seeing great results and I find myself wishing there was another exercise on my daily list. Wow! If you find yourself looking for a challenge but aren't sure where to start, I encourage you to check out www.bodybuilding.com. I can't get enough. The program gives you your workouts, your nutrition and some encouragement. They are fool proof. Give it a go, and if you need a friend to do them with you let me know. I go alone to the gym and have finally gotten over feeling nervous about the dominance of men there. They are so obsessed with themselves that they could care less what I am doing :) haha. Seriously though, if I am on their bench, that's when they notice me. And as soon as I move, they are on to the next. I am loving our gym too. There is a room for the girls to hang out in, and monitors for me to watch them. They do great there, only a few times has Lily taken off all of her clothes, crushed crackers into the carpet, and stood on the play kitchen. She also has some ocd about pooping while we are there. I am always on like my last set when Chloe comes to get me because Lily needs a new diaper. Really kid??? potty train already!! Which by the way she has no interest in. Even candy doesn't work. She will be 3 in October and I am so done with diapers. I think this summer will good for her, run around with no diaper and we're bound to figure it out, right?? haha.
Chloe finishes up her first year of school at the end of the month. So glad we get her back. I am having a really hard time with her being there during the day. Lately she has been bursting into tears at the drop off. I just hate that I have to make her go, she has been having some little girl drama and I don't feel like the teacher is so involved to make it any better. Darn it. I remember dealing with it, but Kindergarten really?? Not sure how to handle this, but of course I am going to side with Chloe she's my baby but I am not lost on the fact that she may cause drama too. My heart just breaks for her knowing that she's hurting. I think I'll just freeze time, and keep her home with me :)
Here's some pics from this last month. Can't wait for summer!!! xoxo
