Easter came and went and it was fabulous. Loved seeing the girls all dolled up, and I loved watching all the baptism's at church. Such a renewed feeling in the Lord. He rose for us. I love celebrating this holiday. It is so amazing to think about that day, these women were mourning a loss. Like most of us, they went to pay their respects only to find that the Lord was no longer there. Can you imagine what that was like??? Then to know that He Rose. He died for all of us, He died for our sins. Even for those who don't believe, that deny He is real. He loves all of us, and I love knowing that we have a Father who is faithful and perfect.

We participate in the whole holiday thing by hiding, decorating and eating eggs and getting big Easter baskets. But we also make sure that our girls understand why we celebrate that day. Obviously the understanding is much harder for a two and a five year old but we want them to understand that its not just about the gifts. Much like Christmas :) They are such sweet girls and I am so thankful for them.

We had a neighborhood hunt, and then we celebrated at B's Grandma's house. Holiday's over there are so much fun. She has a great big yard that the kids get to run around on and I just love her. Here's a few pic's of the fam.
