My best friend is in labor, so naturally I am WiDe AwAkE and it is 1:42am...... I am so excited for her. So naturally I am blogging. We all went out to watch the BSU game without our kiddos tonight and Jacki was so excited that she was getting a night out. She's hilarious. Our husbands went early to get seats so I picked her up and she tells me that she is having contractions. I figure, eh probably nothing. Well then we get to the restaruant and she starts telling me that they are getting closer. So naturally I time them. Why not right. Well then my little friend has 18 in one hour!!!!! I was close to panic. I felt like I was also having contractions. Sympathy pains. This is her third baby, so she was all nonchalant, just really wanted to enjoy her onion rings. I am pretty sure I didn't help by continuing to bug her about how far apart they were, or how her water would probably bust when she stood up. So at halftime, they decided that maybe they should go get checked. That was about four hours ago, and the last update I got was about twenty minutes ago. She is soooo close to being admitted. Why they make these poor laboring women sit in tiny little triage rooms is beyond me. Get a spa, and make them comfy!! She's atleast at a three and 90% effaced. Crazy. The best part is, they don't know the sex yet. They have a daughter and a son already at home so they decided that they would wait. I honestly didn't think they would, but holy cow, 37 weeks later and they don't know!! Although, she sent the results to her Aunt that lives in another city so she could handmake some clothes. She then sent them all wrapped and Jacki will open them at the hospital. I just want to be a fly on the wall to hear the doctor say what "it" is. She keeps joking that he'll say "Its a puppy"! haha. I am sure my next post will be a million pictures of either Jaxson or Hannah. but for now, here's the mama to be and the rest of us crazy BSU fans!!

ha! ha! Your post made me smile!!!! I'll print it off and put it in the baby book. Soooooo... here I am 2 days later still with no baby! Aghhh!!! I'm 4.5cm dialated and still 90% effaced. Go figure...
