happily ever after

Miss Chlo is in the prime of preschool. She is FiNaLly starting to like it too!! So happy!! She went both days this week and didn't complain about getting up or going, which is amazing since last week she played hookie saying she didn't feel good and couldn't go. Amazing that it already starts this young :) I think we are watching a little too much ICarly :) Well we have had one little incident that I don't know what to make of it. Chloe is an amazing little girl, who has always been so compassionate and goes out of her way to make cards for Everyone, no matter who they are or if she really even knows them. She tells me how much she loves me, how pretty I am, and is constantly kissing her baby sister. So imagine my surprise when I speak to her teacher about a problem she is having and I find out that My little one may actually be involved on the other side of things. I won't go into details, but I will say that I was a bit surprised and I felt so sad inside. I know that this is a learning process for her. She has never been in a setting like this, and was never in a daycare so her interaction with other kids has been limited to those that we know really well. She never struck me as the type that would make others feel bad, or feel left out. Well here we are, week three and it is already coming up. I know I shouldn't stress over it, but I do. I feel like this is my opportunity to teach, and  to establish who she will become as a teenager and as an adult. Makes me reflect on my childhood and how I was picked on in school as a young child, and then I grew up and became part of the group that wasn't so nice to others. I want both of my girls to be caring and compassionate. Sounds silly, I know she is only four but it still will be a subject that we will work on. We made a chart about how to show others we care about them, and I am hoping that she will learn, and be able to be a leader and not a follower as she grows up. Prayer, lots and lotsa prayer :) xoxo
