Birthday Blues

So Friday was my 27th birthday........... Can't believe I am 27. Sounds so old to me, and I still feel so young. I had such a great day. I spent it shopping with my Lily while B spent the day playing with Chloe. I went and  had my lashes done at Mac, which I LoVeD. They were so long and lush. We met some amazing friends and family for dinner at Bardenay which is among our fav's when we are kidless. I had some hot pumps and I was so excited. We then moved on to bowling....... sidenote, not good to bowl in a dress. B tells me I look like a Catholic School Girl, as I am trying to not let my slip show. Yes, I wear a slip because after two babies things need a holdin in. So we were enjoying ourselves and having a good time when I got a text that Miss Chlo wasn't feeling so hot. So we left early to attend to her, got her home and both girls in bed. Only to awake an hour later with one sick kiddo. So here I sit two hours later, two loads of laundry later and I am Wide Awake. I just feel so horrible for her. It's only the second week of preschool and she is already sick. Which if anyone knows me is seriously my biggest fear. Since she was never really exposed to daycare sickness she has been relatively healthy since birth, maybe sick a few times. I always cringe taking her into Sunday School because I just know some kid in there is sick and she'll get it. Then she turned four and I knew that she would be starting preschool. A germs favorite place to be, kids with messy hands, not washing them as good as I would, and Chloe who still puts everything in her mouth. I have been worried sick since she started waiting for this to happen, and now here we are three classes later, sick. Am I alone in this worrying?? What do all you mom's of more than one kid do?? because now I am petrified that Lily will get sick, or B, or me. Or my poor mom who babysat her all night...... seriously why does anyone have to get it? Breaks my heart. so here I sit typing away, watching Hannah Montana while Chloe snores away next to me. If your the praying type, please say a few for all of us. and especially Chloe. xoxo

poor little gus. That is the worst to watch your little one so helpless. I agree with you and the preschool thing. Malia has been sick minus a few colds here and there 3 Time in HER LIFE! She was throwing up and super sick one time, the second she got the roto virus (long story) and the third was just another sickness,. but that is IT! She came home from school and got us all feeling super sick including boo:( I hate school germs too. So Sorry friend, give her a big love from us.
ps-you looks super sexy on your birthday, love the hair and the lashes:)

Oh my! It seems that the sickies are going around. Macy got sick last Sunday night, had a fever of 104. Slowly but surely throughout the week the rest of us started getting sick as well, first Madelyn, then Terry, and now finally me. I have several friends and family members who are ill and it seems to just be going around. Thankfully it isn't anything serious, just some congestion and a little coughing, but it's still no fun to see your little ones in pain and discomfort and feel helpless. Hope Chloe is feeling better!
