I did it.

I have recently taken up health. Silly right, well after many times of throwing all my clothes on the floor, deleting photos, buying slimming tops I decided that was it. Enough. So I listened to my adorable sister in law and went with her to a bootcamp. This lady is intense. She is hard core and she loves loves it when you are about to drop. Then she gives you more. I had to rush to the bathroom the first night, and when I came out she was all smiles. She then promptly had me finish my last three belt runs............. hard core. I started with her 6 weeks ago and so far I am loving it. In a can't wait to get it over with, but feel amazing when I do kinda way. She has us with her twice a week, after that we have two seperate days of exercises to do on our own. One of them is a three mile run, and we have to give her our time each week. I have been able to break my records every week. Tonight I was dragging my feet about going, since it was an incredible 97 degrees outside, my kids were sooooo naughty all night. All I wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep. but I knew, that if I didn't complete it and got to boot camp, I would have 100 jump squats in place of the run and if you've ever done 100 jump squats, then you know it was an easy decision. So off I went, really feeling like walking the whole thing, but I made up my mind that I wanted to get it over with, so I just started running. I have small goals to make it on these runs, like a lamp post, a street sign. Then once I get there, I give myself a break. Well tonight I was dead set on skipping those and getting it over with. I made it one mile and was thrilled. Like throwing my hands in the air, while listening to Alicia Keye's "Superwoman". I haven't ran a whole mile since highschool. It was such an accomplishing feeling and I can't wait till I am able to conquer two, and then three miles at a time. xoxo
