Not sure if you have ever sold anything on Craigslist, but I sure tried to sell some serious baby bedding this evening. I posted it about a week ago, a little over priced but thought if someone calls I will part with it. I love, love the bedding that Chloe had in her nursery. I had her room put together months before she arrived and I would go sit and rock in her room and I loved it. So serene, so beautiful. So she has had her big girl room for about 6 months and I am finally somewhat removed from it enough to sell it. So like I said I totally priced it my way, still not recognizing that it is "gently, used" and sent it out into the land of Craigslist. I checked out my competition and it was sad, seriously people sell the most awefulist looking things on there. I figured that I would get a few calls and for sure sell it. So I have waited, and waited and finally tonight I got a call. Now if you know me well you know that I have severe anxiety about giving out any personal information about me or my family. I usually lie about my last name and or phone number because I have some weird obsession about someone stealing a child, or bella, or my car........ Brandon likes to tell me how untrusting I am, but he would invite anyone off the street in to have dinner with us. Seriously he still leaves the house unlocked sometimes and sleeps just fine. (I check every lock before I can even lay down) So anyways get the call and I am pumped, but then I realize that I am going to have to meet this crazy lady in person. hmmmmmmmmm..... well my mom was with me so I persuaded her to stay with me to meet this lady. I called her and said that I would come to her house to show her all the bedding. Logical, right? well she insists that we meet at Wallgreens. Even better. As we are driving there, and we pull in ( we gave each other descriptions of our vehicles) I felt dirty, like I was doing a drug deal just without drugs. I couldn't stop laughing and we pulled up next to her Jaguar. (Excited, must mean she wants to buy my bedding) The car is empty. huh? I had just spoken with her and she isn't in her car. Am I supposed to go inside to meet her? do I call her? hmmmmm so I wait, and I wait. Getting impatient. Then she comes out with her son, checks out the bedding, tells me a sob story about purchasing it for some girl that doesn't even live in Idaho, and guessing she wants a deal.... then says Well, I am still looking at other sets so I'll let you know. what. Thanks. So we drove off, and realized what a waste of time Craigslist is. So if you need any bedding, let me know. I have a whole set in my trunk and think it will be there until it sells :) xoxo

OMG! You're a much better person than I am Lyns, but then again, so is everyone else too.lol. I would have been so put off. Next time, you just tell whoever that they can see it in person after they mail you a check and self addressed, pre paid package.....
