happily ever after

Its always an adventure when we head to the cabin. We decided to celebrate New Years with the fam this year and headed up on New Years Eve. We had sooo much fun eating, sledding, and sitting by the fire. Although Lily wasn't so sure about it, she wanted to be held allllll day long :) and nurse allllll day long :) We had the best food too, I decided that getting back in to my pre prego body could wait and I indulged alllllll day long. Lila and Eric made a fantastic dinner in their dutch ovens, which I think I may have to get one because the food was delicious! I think Chloe even ate a few bites. Then we tried to put the kiddos to bed. Well B ended up sleeping with Chloe and they were in bed by 9:00 :( so Lily and I tried to stay up but she wasn't so sure about sleeping without her mommy so we were in bed by 11:00 :( First time in eleven New Years that B and I weren't together to ring it on in. Although sleeping with our babies is a good close second. The best part is that our kiddos slept the whole night through which is amazing considering we usually refer to the first night at the cabin as "hell" night because someones kid usually cries the entire night but I think that sledding for 5 hours tuckered Chloe right on out. We hung out all day Friday ate a huge dinner and decided to drive home. (didn't want to push our luck with the whole sleeping thing) so we got into Boise and spent the next few hours unpacking. I am very excited for 2010, I am hoping to learn to love to exercise and eat healthy, get Chloe into a good preschool, watch Lily grow and grow, and nourish my relationship with Brandon. We have been so blessed in 2009 that I can only imagine how great 2010 will be. xoxo
