Well here I am, two months since Lily came into our lives. What an amazing journey it has been thus far. She is really thriving and growing. She even laughed last night for the first time, such an awesome thing to witness, someone's first laugh. What a gift. Chloe is getting big, she is really turning into a little lady. She is so independant and so head strong. Thats a nice way of saying that she is a trying kiddo :) She tends to be soooo much like me that we often butt heads and end up arguing like sisters rather than mother/daughter. I have a feeling that her teenager years may be difficult :) What am I saying. I sure know how I was as a teenager so I know that those years will be hard. B is doing great, he is so funny. Ever watch your husband doing something and in your head your thinking that you could do it so much better? oh, if only I could get him to do things my way :) ha ha! He was trying to do something with Lily and I literally had to look away and smile so that I didn't hurt his feelings.
We are all set for Christmas, I am so glad that I am done shopping, done wrapping, and done hiding gifts from my kiddo. She asks us every single morning if she can open a present. It is so great to use Santa to bribe her into listening. I think that I need to use him every month rather than just December. She is fun this year because she actually believes, it is fun to see the little wheels in her head turn when we ask her about him. We took her to the mall to meet him, and the pictures were ridiculous! $15 for a 5x7! no thanks! So I brought my own camera and they told me that if I wanted to take a picture that I had to stand at the entrance to take it, so basically your like 10 feet to the side of the couch that he sits on........ so I have a side shot of Chloe meeting Santa. I was not to nice to the "elf'" that told me this. Hope that your all having a great month and that your Christmas' will be magical. xoxo
