happily ever after

Halloween came and went, and it was an adventure to say the least :) We started out with Chloe's school party. I was so excited to be a part of the day, especially since this was the first one of the year. There were about 6 moms that planned the party and the kiddos had so much fun. Chloe dressed up as a Lalaloopsy doll and she was soooo adorable. She has loved these dolls forever and I finally broke down and got her a little one. Once we saw the costume, we knew that was for her this year.

Miss Lily was Dorothy from the wizard of Oz. She loved her sparkly red shoes, and her pretty dress. It was adorable.

After Chloe's school we went trick or treating at Nana's house. She works in the evenings so we knew she wouldn't get to see the girls so we surprised her early, then we headed to my brothers house too.

We went home and began to get ready for some friends to come over. About 5ish, Lily started crying and pulling on her ear. We realized that most likely she had an ear infection............... not fun. So off to urgent care B went. I stayed  back with Chlo and her friends to go around the neighborhood.

We only went out for an hour or so and then went back home to hand out candy. Seems the kids had more fun doing that anyways. Lily got back with her medicine and we settled in on the couch.

It was a long night, but I am so glad she is feeling better. Next year she may actually get to participate :) Luckily for us our kids dress up all year long so these costumes will get plenty of use :) xoxo
