We just got home from the craziest 24 hours I think we have ever had....We had such a bright idea to go to our cabin yesterday morning. We knew that some of the family would be up there trying to clear the snow out, but what we didn't realize was just how much snow was actually up there. I don't know the exact count, but I do know that overnight we got about a foot. So Eric and Lila stayed up there too. After we made the decision to stay we were all really excited. Well Eric ended up getting the flu and at some point in the middle of the night we lost power. Then around seven or so this morning it sounded like the roof was caving in, and since we had no power Chloe's room was pitch black so she started screaming, always great to wake up to. So we pretty much got up at the point. With the fire and flashlights we started our morning. Then about ten or so we decided that we should start packing up and heading home....... That's when all the fun started. We started up this hill and then we started down the hill....backwards..... I am such a baby that I immediately start crying and so Lila Chloe and I head for the cabin. At about two oclock we finally got to take a snow mobile ride to our car to head on home. Eric's truck is still stuck in the snow in the mountains. It was probably the scariest ride I have ever had, but one that we will talk about when we're old :) Thanks for keeping me sane Lila!!
