Redneck Olympics

Brandon and I got invited to a friend's house last weekend and were told that we were going to have a "game day" well we weren't quite sure what that meant, but we soon found out that we needed to come up with a team name, and a uniform. So we started planning, the games that we were going to play were Crouquet, Horse Shoes, and Ladder ball. So we decided to be the Gross Rednecks and dress accordingly. We showed up all decked out and were ready to play. We even had ref's to make sure that everyone was playing by the "rules" which seemed to change quite often! Brandon and I did super good, and by the end we took first out of two events, do to some points bracket, we didn't win overall but we sure did win "Best Costume" and got to take a trophy home with us :) we finished the night off with a bbq and a bon fire. It was such a great evening to get to know other couples and get competitive. Hopefully this will turn into a yearly tradition!
(Unfortunately, a few pictures cannot be seen because Brandon carried around his disposable camera to capture pictures on! Haven't developed film in a looooong time)
